A Course In Miracles Lesson 124

I notice how often I move through situations as if everything depends on me.

Lesson 124

Let me remember I am one with God.

🌿 It shows up as constant adjustment.

Watching what I say.

Reading reactions.

Trying to stay aligned with what will work.

It feels responsible.

It also feels tight.

There is an assumption underneath it—

that if I don’t stay engaged at that level, something will slip.

So I stay involved in everything.

Tracking, anticipating, managing.

But that position carries pressure.

The Course points to something different.

If I am one with God, then I am not operating alone.

Not managing every outcome.

Not responsible for holding everything together.

That doesn’t immediately change what I do.

It changes where I’m operating from.When that shifts—even slightly—

the pressure starts to loosen.

The moment doesn’t feel as narrow.

The need to control every detail softens.

Nothing external has to change for that to happen.

What changes is the assumption that everything depends on me.

From there, perception begins to open.

What felt personal starts to feel less fixed.

Less like something I have to manage perfectly.

Today I’m paying attention to where I tighten around control.

Where I assume responsibility for everything I see.

Not forcing a different belief.

But not holding the old one as certain.

Let me remember I am one with God.
