I notice how much energy I spend trying to manage a future that has never actually arrived.
Lesson 214
I place the future in the Hands of God.
🌿 Fear always lives somewhere other than now.
It pulls me backward into regret or pushes me forward into uncertainty. Yet God is found only in the present, where His peace is already complete. When I release my need to predict or control tomorrow, I discover that today is enough.
🧩 Every time I trust this moment instead of fearing the next one, another piece of the puzzle settles into place. I begin to see that God's plan has never depended on my anxiety, only on my willingness to follow Him one step at a time.
Today I'm paying attention to every moment I drift into "what if." Instead of rehearsing possible futures, I'm choosing to trust the goodness that God is offering me right now.

Like many, I used to constantly worry about what might happen, replaying scenarios in my mind and exhausting my energy on 'what ifs.' But when I sincerely began to place the future in the Hands of God, as the lesson advises, I noticed a shift in my inner peace.
Fear, as the lesson highlights, never resides in now but in a mind focused on past regrets or uncertain futures. By consciously turning my attention back to the present moment—where God's peace is complete—I began to experience a profound sense of calm and clarity. This trust in the present doesn't mean passivity; rather, it invites an active participation with life, one step at a time, aligned with divine guidance.
Interestingly, I also found that letting go of trying to predict or control tomorrow doesn't diminish my capacity to plan or act; instead, it enhances my effectiveness. Without anxiety clouding my judgment, I make decisions with greater confidence and openness. Each time I encounter the urge to fret about upcoming challenges, I remind myself that God’s plan is not contingent on my fears but on my willingness to follow with faith.
The repeated affirmation "I am not a body. I am free," resonates deeply as a reminder of our spiritual identity beyond physical limitations. This recognition helped me detach from fears tied to bodily conditions or external circumstances.
Integrating this lesson into daily life has helped me cultivate a deeper trust not only in spiritual teachings but in my own intuitive sense of guidance. For those struggling with anxiety or fear of the unknown, focusing on the present moment and acknowledging that the future is ultimately held in divine hands can be a transformative practice. It supports living with greater peace, resilience, and a clearer understanding that life unfolds perfectly, even when it seems uncertain.
