Review I — Day 7

🌿 I am learning that the walls I thought were holding me in were built by my own hands.

For years, I believed I was a casualty of my circumstances, trapped by a world that did not want me to succeed.

Today, I am realizing the door has been unlocked the entire time.

I am stepping out of the "prison of my own making" and into a reality I no longer have to fear.

Review I — Lessons 31–35

1. I am not the victim of the world I see.

🧩 (L31) This is not about denying responsibility or the harm I have caused.

It is about releasing the belief that the world in front of me has authority over who I am.

Responsibility does not require lifelong self-sentencing.

I can acknowledge what I have done without letting it define what I am becoming. I am choosing to participate in my life rather than letting circumstances deliver a final verdict.

2. I have invented the world I see.

The armor I wore to stay safe on the yard became a wall that kept me from the life I want to live.

I am moving from being a prisoner of my defenses to becoming a whole and healed person in society.

If the world I see is an invention of my survival mind, then I can un-invent the belief that I am less than.

3. There is another way of looking at the world.

Staying in a defensive crouch does not make me safer; it only makes me blind.

This is not about being positive—it is about being accurate.

My old way of seeing was shaped by ghosts.

This new way is grounded in the present moment.

I am willing to stop using my history as the only filter for what is happening now.

4. I could see peace instead of this.

I do not have to fight the weather; I only need to notice it.

As a person dedicated to continuing their healing in society who knows peace is found when I stop identifying with the storm, I am willing to let my vision move beyond the reflex of fear.

5. My mind is part of God’s. I am very holy.

Holiness is not about behavior; it is about Source and original worth.

My mind survived the yard and addiction, and that resilience is evidence, not exception.

I am not earning my way back into humanity—I am remembering that I never left it.

My mind did not come from fear; it came from something whole.

From my own experience, the concept that "I have invented the world I see" was revolutionary. It means that much of the fear, anxiety, or conflict I felt was shaped by my mind’s survival reflexes. These reflexes once protected me but eventually became barriers to the joyful and fulfilling life I desired. By consciously choosing to 'un-invent' these defensive views and adopting a more accurate, present-focused perspective, I began to see the world differently—not as a prison, but a place offering freedom. The idea of trading a "sniper’s scope" for "wide-angle clarity" resonates deeply. Previously, I approached situations through a narrow, fearful lens, focusing on past trauma and worst-case scenarios. Embracing a broader view has allowed me to accept the present moment as it is, without being trapped by history or fear. It’s not about forced positivity, but about allowing a clearer, more truthful understanding of reality to emerge. Another crucial lesson is that peace can replace anxiety and conflict if we stop identifying with our inner storms. I found that noticing my emotional weather rather than fighting it helped in calming my mind and body. Awareness brought healing, and with it, a sense of peace that felt genuinely grounded. Finally, coming to understand that "my mind is part of God's" and that I am inherently holy shattered long-held shame and feelings of unworthiness. This holiness isn't about perfection but about recognizing an unchangeable worth and connection to a higher source. Remembering this helped me see resilience where I had only seen struggle and opened the door to forgiveness—both for myself and others. These lessons are not simply theoretical; they are practical guides that can be integrated into daily life. From my journey, practicing mindfulness around these ideas, acknowledging personal responsibility without self-condemnation, and reminding myself of my intrinsic holiness have been key steps in healing and growing. As anyone walking this path can find, freedom is not somewhere outside us; it’s a choice and a recognition we reclaim within ourselves.
