A Course In Miracles Lesson 131
I notice how often I aim for things that don’t actually resolve anything.
Lesson 131
No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth.
🌿 I set goals.
Try to improve situations.
Work toward something better.
It feels directed.
Like I’m moving forward.
But some of those goals don’t lead anywhere stable.
They resolve one thing
and replace it with another.
Temporary relief.
Then another adjustment.
The cycle continues.
That’s easy to overlook
because progress still looks like progress.
Today’s lesson points to something deeper.
If the goal itself doesn’t lead to truth,
then no amount of effort will stabilize it.
The issue isn’t effort.
It’s direction.
What I’m aiming toward determines the outcome.
If I’m aiming toward something temporary,
then the result will be temporary.
That’s not failure.
It’s misalignment.
The Course removes that uncertainty.
If the goal is truth,
then the outcome is not in question.
There is no version of that where it doesn’t resolve.
Because truth doesn’t shift.
So the issue isn’t whether I succeed.
It’s whether I’m aiming at something real.
Today I’m paying attention to what I’m working toward.
What I expect will finally settle things.
Not judging it.
But questioning whether it actually leads anywhere lasting.
No one can fail who seeks to reach the truth.
I am MovingStill.
