A Course In Miracles Lesson 75
The light has come.
🌿 For a long time, I believed I was living in the shadow of my past.
The shadow of the offense.
The shadow of the stigma.
The shadow of a world that seemed determined to define me by one single choice.
Along the path of re-entry, those shadows can feel permanent.
But today I am learning something quieter.
The light has not arrived.
It has always been here.
The only thing that’s changed is my willingness to see it.
The world around me may look the same.
The job.
The paperwork.
The conversations.
The responsibilities.
Yet the meaning I give them is no longer shaped by grievance.
The past has not been erased.
It has simply lost its authority over how I see.
I am not a “rehabilitated” man trying to manage a damaged identity.
I am a healed person learning to recognize what was never broken.
Forgiveness has not changed the world.
It has changed my sight.
Where I once saw threat and limitation,
I now see the opportunity to extend peace.
This does not require effort or dramatic change.
It requires openness.
I do not need to construct a new future.
I only need to allow my mind to be free of old conclusions.
If a shadow seems to return, I remember:
The light has come.
I am MovingStill.
