A Course In Miracles Lesson 100
I notice how often I measure my value through comparison or past mistakes — and how easily I conclude I don't matter.
Lesson 100
My part is essential to God's plan for salvation.
🌿 The lesson for today addresses a belief I have carried quietly for years: that I am peripheral, unnecessary, maybe even invisible.
After being impacted by the justice system, that feeling can become a persistent background assumption.
I show up, I comply, I do what is required.
But underneath, a voice says none of it really matters.
But the Course introduces a different premise.
It says each mind has a role that cannot be replaced.
Joy is not a reward for fulfilling this role.
It is evidence that I am aligned with it.
If I believe my contribution is optional or irrelevant, I will experience discouragement.
But what if the discouragement is not proof of my insignificance — only proof that I am looking in the wrong direction?
I am beginning to accept that my presence has meaning beyond what I can currently measure.
Not because I have earned it, but because meaning was never conditional.
My part is essential to God's plan for salvation.
I am MovingStill.
